Coat the bottom of the pan and the sides of the extender with a release spray. Pour the batter to 3/4 capacity, and then place the pan in the oven to bake. Bake the batter according to your recipe directions and then remove it when ready. Allow the pan to cool off before gently lifting the extender. The sides of your cake should be straight and smooth, which makes trimming obsolete! Plus, using a pan extender will promote uniform height, color, and texture, while minimizing over-baking!",
